Want to know how much a Solatube sun pipes?

Quick and painless pricing!

Providing you with a price for a Solatube is a simple task and is best achieved with a quick chat over the phone in order to clarify a few details. Within 5 minutes we can let you know, over the phone, how much a Solatube sun tunnel costs for supply only, or supply and installation. We would then follow this up with confirmation of all the details in an email to you.

Solatube sun pipe prices are dependent on the size of room, roof type and distance from the roof down to the ceiling of the room. Armed with this information Solatube Southwest can quickly let you know how much a Solatube costs to supply and install, anywhere throughout the south and west including:

• Somerset
• Devon
• Dorset
• Cornwall
• Wiltshire
• Gloucestershire
• Hampshire

6 things we need to know to brighten up your life

      1. Room type [kitchen, bathroom, office etc.]
      2. Approximate dimensions of dark area [in metres or feet]
      3. Type of building [2-storey house, bungalow, office, factory, etc.
      4. Roof covering [profiled tiles; plain flat tiles; slate, flat roof – single ply, felt, fibreglass; green; standing seem; profiled metal sheet etc
      5. Space between joists [see pic]
      6. Approximate tube length [the height between the ceiling where you want the Solatube to appear, up to the underside of the roof]

Not sure?

But don’t worry if you don’t know the answers to any of these questions; once we’ve had a quick chat with you over the phone we will still be able to work out a price for the supply and fitting of a Solatube sun tunnel in your home.

And just to reassure you, it isn’t always necessary to undertake a separate survey for a Solatube, particularly as we endeavour to minimise our carbon footprint and charge out costs by keeping our mileage to a minimum; it also makes sense whilst we remain ‘COVID-cautious’ until things settle down again. Essentially, based on the information you can provided us with, the estimate for the Solatube is usually pretty accurate. Sometimes it may be necessary for a Solatube survey, in which case we can talk about this over the phone to make the appropriate arrangements

Honest pricing

The price we give you will include the VAT, unless you ask otherwise, as this is the price we all pay and I believe is the fairest and most honest way of letting you know how much a Solatube will cost. We don’t believe in misleading people about the price of a Solatube by excluding the VAT.

No sales tricks

At no point is there any pressure from us to make a decision; that’s not the way we work. We want to provide you with all the information you need to make the right decision for yourself. We’re here to help and answer any questions and if you do decide to go ahead we would be delighted to install your Solatube.

We won’t be hounding or hassling you at any stage either, other than the odd, timely call to follow up and check you have everything you need.

Making it easy

Should you be happy to accept the estimate in principal, we can arrange a convenient date to come round.  We will observe government guidelines regarding COVID social distancing and wear face masks and gloves, and would ask that you also wear a mask when in the same room and maintain a 2m distance.

We can complete a quick survey first thing to ensure that everything is as we discussed and assuming all is OK we would like to continue and complete the installation, there and then as greed.  However, should there be any changes required or the price should change as a result of the survey then you would be under no obligation to continue if you were not happy and there would be no charge whatsoever.
